So I submitted our music to CDbaby.com last December and paid the fees for digital distribution (which would allow for the songs to be purchased through several outlets including itunes.) I was told it would be a couple of weeks until the songs were on itunes, but it turned out to be quite a bit longer than that. I've searched itunes for our music every once in a while, and low and behold today they were there!
Needless to say, it was both exciting and unnerving. I felt really exposed by the idea that something so personal (including every waiver in my voice and flaw in my playing) was out there for the world to ignore. However, obscure or not, it is there and that is a start.
